The Fall-Winter 2017 Maison Père wardrobe is a nod to the American cult show Dynasty. The designer revisits mythic pieces with 80’s feelings to create a signature that is modern and personal. We find the emblematic fabrics and shapes of a generation that resonates disco: lame, jacquard with lurex, crinkled silk, matte sequins and a play on transparency. The shapes distinguish themselves, skirts and shirts with flounces, stirrup pants and tuxedo jackets are paired with long herringbone coats and romantic tops. The color palette is a combination of khaki, cognac, whisky, bronze and midnight blue. Exclusive prints inspired by Persian rugs from the living room of the family home as well as ancestral crests revisited by Maison Père recalling the attachment that the brand has to its’ roots.
